Wildlife Forever is proud to partner with USDA Forest Service Eastern Region to renew a comprehensive educational and promotional outreach initiative aimed at combating Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) in the Great Lakes region. This collaboration is made possible through the generous support of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.

Through a simple grant request, organizations and agencies will gain access to a wide range of high-quality materials designed to increase awareness and understanding of AIS and promote effective prevention measures. Outreach materials will include educational resources, such as brochures, posters, decals, and Clean Drain Dry products, available for viewing and purchase at CleanDrainDry.org/shop.

To qualify for this opportunity, your organization must meet the following criteria.

  • Organization mission should align with the goals and priorities of the grant program.

  • Organization should operate within the GLRI boundaries.

  • Programming should provide direct or indirect benefit to National Forest lands.

  • Organization should have capacity and/or track record of invasive species work.

  • Organization should have an ability and willingness to report on program outcomes including brief report + photographs.

Minimum award: $500

Maximum award: $2,500

Maximum award funds: $5,000

Expected number of awards: 5

Expected award date: September 20th, 2024
